National Address

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has called on citizens, expatriates, and legal persons in the country, in accordance with the National Address Law No. 24 of 2017 to register/change their National Addresses otherwise, violators will be subject to legal actions, including a fine of QR10,000 maximum. 

The National Address is defined as a set of data that every natural or legal person possesses, whether a citizen, an expatriate, or a person acting as such, to perform transactions with government and non-government entities and receive various services from the country easily.

MOI explained that the registration can be done via Metrash 2 mobile app, website, and the Ministry's unified service centers. 

Please ensure compliance to the above. We have enclosed a step by step registration as well us a Declaration for you to let us know that you have completed the National Address request from the government authorities. In case you are still not able to complete this, training will be conducted by me/ Moustafa ( dates will be shared with you in the coming days).

What is Metrash2?: The “Metrash2” service enables citizens and residents to obtain a wide range of Ministry of Interior (MOI) services while enjoying the convenience of using their cell phones.
